19-year-old seriously injured after car overturns near Pram

A 19-year-old man was seriously injured after his car left the road and overturned on the Innkreis motorway near Pram in the district of Grieskirchen early Tuesday, ORF reported.

The Turkish national from the district of Schärding was driving from Wels towards Suben at about 3:45 a.m. when he left the road to the right for an unknown reason in the municipality of Pram. The car hit the railing of an emergency exit staircase.

The vehicle overturned in the collision and came to a stop on the grass verge. The driver was trapped inside and had to be freed by firefighters.

After receiving emergency medical treatment, he was taken to Ried Hospital. The exact cause of the crash remains unknown.
