Front-end crash closes A12 motorway in both directions

A12 Inntal motorway was closed in both directions after a head-on collision near Mötz, ORF reported. The crash happened at about 7.20 a.m. in a construction zone.

One car crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with another vehicle. One person was airlifted to hospital, but the number and severity of injuries remained unclear.

Traffic was diverted onto the B171 Tiroler Straße. Queues and delays of about 30 minutes were reported in the built-up area of Silz.
