Three men sentenced over cannabis and cocaine trafficking

Three men have been sentenced to multi-year prison terms for trafficking cannabis and cocaine in the Graz area, ORF Steiermark reported. The investigation uncovered at least 35 kilograms of cannabis and 600 grams of cocaine.

The investigation began in September 2025 after police received information about drug transactions in a park in Feldkirchen near Graz. Targeted checks led to the arrest of a 21-year-old Turkish national.

Further investigations identified a 27-year-old Austrian and an 18-year-old Russian national. According to investigators, the three obtained the drugs through foreign supply sources and stored them in so-called bunker apartments, which served as hiding places in Graz and the surrounding area.

The drugs were mainly sold from these apartments south of Graz. One of the apartments was allegedly operated by one of the main suspects from the Graz-Umgebung district.

The court also dealt with a case of serious bodily injury linked to the drug scene. It ordered the forfeiture of 100,000 euros.

Police also identified numerous buyers. Their court proceedings have not yet taken place.
