21-year-old woman dies after riding hall fall

A 21-year-old woman from the Murtal district died after falling from a horse at a riding hall in Empersdorf in the Leibnitz district on Monday, ORF reported.

She fell at about 12.30 p.m. for an unknown reason while she was alone in the riding hall. A witness later found her lying unresponsive on the floor and alerted emergency services.

An emergency doctor was called to the scene but could only confirm the woman’s death.
