Alcohol-impaired driver crashes into empty house in Lingenau

A 29-year-old woman lost control of her car in Lingenau early Monday and crashed head-on into an empty house, ORF reported. She injured her knee and was taken to hospital.

According to police, the woman was driving from Lingenau towards Hittisau at about 3.20am when the car left the road and hit the wall of the vacant building.

Police withdrew her driving licence because she was under the influence of alcohol.
