Three suspects arrested after Dornbirn shop break-in

Three young men were arrested after allegedly breaking into a food shop in Dornbirn late on Sunday, with one suspect detained on the building’s roof, ORF reported, citing police.

A witness alerted police at about 11.10pm after seeing people and lights inside the building on Moosmahdstraße. Several patrols were sent to the scene and found a burglary in progress.

Police arrested one 17-year-old suspect outside the building. A second suspect fled inside and was eventually detained on the roof. Another 18-year-old suspect was arrested near the scene.

The suspects allegedly entered through a window and stole cash takings from the food shop. Police recovered several thousand euros. The investigation is continuing.
