A man died in an apartment in Vienna’s Floridsdorf district in the early hours of Monday after police received a report of a loud dispute there, ORF reported. The involvement of another person has not been ruled out.
Police officers found the man lying on the floor of the apartment in Leopoldau at about 4.15 a.m. and immediately began resuscitation efforts. An emergency doctor could only confirm his death.
The Vienna State Criminal Police Office’s homicide and personal safety investigation unit is handling the case. Police said the circumstances and evidence at the scene meant that the involvement of another person could not be excluded. Investigators are pursuing all possibilities.
