Crans-Montana bar operator questioned again by prosecutors

Jacques Moretti, operator of the Le Constellation bar in Crans-Montana, was questioned again by Valais prosecutors on Monday, SRF reported. He was taken in a prison van to the Energypolis campus in Sion, avoiding victims’ relatives and media waiting at the main entrance.

Several victims and relatives attended the questioning. Moretti was accompanied by his lawyer, Patrick Michod.

Prosecutors had initially planned to question Moretti and his wife, Jessica, together, but decided last week not to summon her, citing her “particularly fragile psychological state”. Moretti has been in pre-trial detention since mid-August on suspicion of domestic violence against his wife.
