Styria and Carinthia seek closer ties at joint conference

Styria and Carinthia are holding their fourth joint government conference in Graz on Tuesday as the two Austrian states seek to deepen cooperation, ORF reported.

The meeting is the first since the Koralmbahn railway opened. The newly created rail infrastructure is expected to create and improve opportunities for cooperation, and the Carinthian delegation travelled to Graz by train.

Styria Governor Mario Kunasek and Carinthia Governor Daniel Fellner will hold a joint news conference after the meeting. It is Fellner’s first conference of this kind. The news conference is scheduled for noon and will be livestreamed by ORF.
