87-year-old dies after falling from ladder while changing bulb

An 87-year-old man died after apparently falling from a ladder while changing a light bulb in Neumarkt in Styria, ORF reported. The incident occurred on Thursday in the Murau district.

His daughter found him lying lifeless on the floor of his house in the morning and immediately alerted emergency services. However, rescuers were unable to help him.

An autopsy found that he had suffered a broken neck. Police found no evidence that anyone else was involved.
