Van overturns after collision with car in Steinfelden

A van overturned after colliding with a car on the B120 in Steinfelden, in the district of Kirchdorf, on Sunday. No one was injured, ORF reported.

The crash happened shortly before 9 a.m. at an intersection by a petrol station. The van left the road, drove up an embankment and hit a garden wall before tipping onto its side. The cause of the collision is not yet known.

The fire brigade reported significant damage to both vehicles and the area around the crash. Steinfelden firefighters, police and the Red Cross attended.

Firefighters righted the van and helped the towing service recover it. Traffic on the B120 Scharnsteiner Straße was restricted near the crash, with vehicles temporarily diverted through the neighbouring petrol station. The road reopened after cleanup and recovery work.
