91-year-old motorcyclist dies in crash in St. Pankraz

A 91-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash in St. Pankraz, in the Kirchdorf district, on Tuesday, ORF reported. He left the road on a bend and fell into a ditch. Resuscitation efforts failed.

The man was travelling from Windischgarsten towards Kirchdorf at about 11:45 a.m. when he went off the road on a left-hand bend for reasons that remain unknown. No other vehicle was involved. The motorcycle was thrown back onto the road.

Passing motorists gave first aid and called emergency services. An emergency doctor pronounced the man dead.
