Reversing light truck seriously injures 92-year-old in Innsbruck

ORF reported that a 92-year-old pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a reversing light truck in Innsbruck on Tuesday morning.

The 24-year-old driver was reversing onto a municipal road in the Arzl district when he failed to see the woman and collided with her. She became trapped beneath the vehicle.

Rescue workers and an emergency doctor provided initial treatment before taking her to the shock room at the clinic, police said.
