Oberndorf bridge repairs will keep one lane open until October

The Länderbrücke bridge between the Austrian city of Oberndorf and Laufen in Bavaria will undergo repairs from Monday, causing traffic disruptions, ORF reports.

Workers will replace the bridge’s lighting and electrical systems and carry out several smaller repairs. Work will take place during the day from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is scheduled to continue until mid October.

The bridge between Salzburg and Bavaria will remain open in at least one direction throughout the construction period, according to the Oberndorf municipal authorities. The pedestrian path will also be maintained, with access provided on one side at a time.
