Small truck crash closes Zirler Berg road

A small truck overturned on the Seefelder Straße at the Zirler Berg mountain road on Thursday morning, closing the route, ORF reported. The driver is believed to have suffered minor injuries.

The crash happened at about 8.20 a.m. as the vehicle was travelling uphill. No other vehicles were involved, according to the Tyrol control centre. Emergency services took the driver to hospital in Hall.

The B177 Seefelder Straße was closed between Zirl-Ost and the Seefelder Sattel. Cars can use Mösern as an alternative route.
