Police investigate man’s death near Lenggries

A man was found dead overnight in a parking area on Federal Highway 307 near Lenggries in Bavaria, BR reported. His identity and the circumstances of his death remain unclear.

Police discovered the body at about 1:25 a.m. near the Sylvenstein Reservoir. The area has been extensively cordoned off.

The Weilheim criminal investigation department is handling the case. Federal Highway 307 is temporarily closed in both directions, and motorists have been asked to avoid the area or take a wide detour.
