The Graz Krampus run will require paid tickets again this year, with thousands of visitors expected on Sunday, November 8, ORF reports.
Events begin at 2 p.m. at Freiheitsplatz, a square, with a programme for children and families. The run starts at 6 p.m. Groups will parade through the city centre and present themselves to the public at Karmeliterplatz, another square.
Tickets cost about six euros, while students pay 3.45 euros. Organisers say the event has been moved to early November because of construction work and scheduling clashes.
The run returned last year after a six-year break. Organisers introduced tickets then, saying they were needed for safety reasons. Krampus and Perchten runs are also planned in other parts of Styria in the coming weeks, including Rottenmann, Premstätten and Köflach.
