Car overturns after mounting guardrail in Obervetterbach

A car left the road, mounted a guardrail and overturned in Obervetterbach, a district of Thalgau in Flachgau, on Sunday night, ORF’s Salzburg news service reported.

Firefighters from Thalgau and the Unterdorf unit were called to the crash at 11.10 p.m. on November 1. The car came to a stop in front of a garage.

Firefighters provided initial care to the person involved until the Red Cross arrived, while others directed traffic past the scene. They also absorbed leaked fluids, secured the area against fire and cleared up after the crash. A towing company recovered the car. The operation ended after about an hour, according to the fire service.
