A cat that waits each day for her owner at a bus stop in Füllinsdorf now has a shelter of her own, built by an unknown person, SRF reports.
Cleo has spent about two years at the Obere Hofackerstrasse stop, waiting for her owner, Kleopatra Känzig, to return from work. She waits in all kinds of weather and once stayed until 11 p.m. when Känzig was delayed.
The cat is familiar to children, bus drivers, passengers and passers-by. Police have added reflectors to the shelter so it is more visible beside the busy road. Känzig said she would like to thank whoever built it.
Cleo often leaves the shelter to greet people, especially schoolchildren, who pet her. Sometimes people leave food packets and other gifts. When she prefers not to wait inside, she uses the shelter as a lookout point.
