Eibiswald, Styria, traffic accident

Three people were injured when two cars collided in Eibiswald, in the Deutschlandsberg district, on Friday, ORF reported. Both drivers and a passenger were taken to hospital.

Shortly before 7 a.m., a 34-year-old driver tried to turn left onto the B69 near the Pitschgau-Haselbach fire station. She appears to have failed to see a car driven by a 22-year-old, and the vehicles collided. The 34-year-old’s car was thrown into a nearby meadow.

The two drivers and the 20-year-old passenger in the 22-year-old’s car suffered injuries of unspecified severity. They received initial treatment before being taken to hospital. Police, ambulance crews and 15 members of the Pitschgau-Haselbach fire brigade responded.
