Intoxicated driver rolls car off Gurktal Road

A 20-year-old intoxicated driver was injured after his car left the Gurktal Road and overturned early Sunday, ORF reported. He was taken by ambulance to Friesach Hospital. A breath test found he was heavily intoxicated.

In a separate incident on Saturday, a heavily intoxicated 39-year-old driver damaged three cars on the A10 motorway. After turning into the Weissenstein motorway parking area, he struck two parked vehicles. No one was injured, but all three cars were damaged and the driver’s vehicle could not be driven. His licence was revoked after a breath test showed he was heavily intoxicated.
