Bankruptcy proceedings open against Müller Wohnbau over €9.8 million

Bankruptcy proceedings have been opened against Müller Wohnbau GmbH, a housing developer based in Altach, with liabilities reported at €9.8 million, ORF reported Friday, citing the KSV1870 credit protection association.

The company filed the insolvency petition itself at the Feldkirch regional court. The bankruptcy does not affect employees. The company’s liabilities to banks are stated as €9.7 million.

Müller Wohnbau had already stopped operating after bankruptcy proceedings opened against a second company, Müller Bau GmbH & Co KG, in early March. Until then, it had operated regionally and specialised in handing over completed houses.
