Car crashes through bridge railing into Sattnitz river

A 46-year-old driver was injured after his car broke through a bridge railing and ended up in the Sattnitz river in Klagenfurt on Tuesday evening, ORF reported.

The man was driving along Schlossstraße towards Radsberg at about 8 p.m. when, for reasons not yet known, he left the road near a bridge and crashed through its railing.

He was taken to Klagenfurt Clinic after receiving first aid. Firefighters recovered the car from the river.
