The Public Employment Service Burgenland will hold two business networking events this autumn, ORF reported. The talks will give companies a chance to connect and learn about the agency’s services.
Topics will include recruiting skilled workers, the apprenticeship market and labour-market trends in Burgenland. The service will also present its platform, described as a matchmaking service for companies and employees.
This year’s talks will focus in particular on using artificial intelligence in the workplace. “Some fields on the job market make extensive use of AI, and entry-level jobs are disappearing, while in other areas companies cannot expect to benefit from AI or make work easier,” said Helene Sengstbratl, the agency’s regional director.
The talks are scheduled for October 8 in Neusiedl am See and November 13 in Stegersbach.
