Police say five fires near Mühlbach were deliberately set

Police believe all five fires discovered near Zemling and Mühlbach am Manhartsberg in Hollabrunn district were deliberately set, ORF Lower Austria reported Monday. Investigations are continuing.

A police fire investigator examined the five locations after a major emergency response on Saturday. Police said each fire had started beside a path.

Emergency crews were first called to a burning pile of wood on Saturday afternoon. More fires were reported shortly afterwards. Firefighters used a drone to locate one of them.
