Alcohol-impaired driver hits motorhome and car in Pinsdorf

A 58-year-old man from Vöcklabruck district collided with an oncoming motorhome and then another car on the B145 road in Pinsdorf, Gmunden district, on Saturday evening, ORF reported. Three people suffered minor injuries, and police said the driver had a blood alcohol level of 1.58 per mille.
The Turkish national was driving on the B145, also known as the Salzkammergutstraße, at about 9.30 p.m. when his car collided with a motorhome carrying a married couple from Schärding district. The force of the impact caused the motorhome to overturn and come to rest on its side.
The 58-year-old’s car then collided with a following vehicle driven by a 31-year-old man from Gmunden district.
The two people in the motorhome and the 58-year-old driver were slightly injured. After receiving first aid, they were taken to hospital. The 31-year-old was not injured, according to police.
