Munich, Tollwood Festival, Zartmann

More than 300 fans met singer Zartmann at a spontaneously announced event in Munich on Wednesday, BR reported. The gathering was part of a two-week tour through the German-speaking region to promote his 2027 open-air concerts.

Fans began waiting outside Circus Krone from 5 p.m., with some travelling from Salzburg, Augsburg and Nuremberg. Zartmann had announced the meet and greet on social media that morning.

For two hours, fans could speak briefly with the singer, take photos and receive autographs. His team also threw T-shirts from the roof of the tour bus at the start of the event. The gathering ended at around 9 p.m., after all visitors had the opportunity to meet him.

Meeting point kept secret

The event was organised in cooperation with the Tollwood Festival, where Zartmann will perform in 2027. Fans at the Munich gathering received exclusive access to tickets, although the general advance sale has not yet begun.

The meeting was announced on Zartmann’s social media accounts on Wednesday morning. Posters showing the date and meeting point were also put up around the city in cooperation with the festival.

Speaking to BR before the event, Zartmann said the meetings meant more to him than simply promoting his concerts. “It is always cool when, as a public figure, you can give something back to the community that helped you get to this point,” he said.

Surprise tour continues

Zartmann plans to travel through the German-speaking region for nearly two more weeks, holding spontaneous fan meetings. Munich was the second stop after the tour began in Basel on Tuesday.

The locations will continue to be announced at short notice and are expected to be places where Zartmann will play open-air concerts next summer. On Thursday, he planned to visit listeners in Friedberg in Hesse.

The Berlin singer, who has consistently kept his name and age out of the public eye, became known in 2024 through songs including “Wie du manchmal fehlst”, recorded with Ski Aggu, and “Meinen die uns”. His song “Tau mich auf” was Spotify’s most-streamed song in 2025.
