Police suspect foul play after 35-year-old found dead in Vienna

Police are investigating suspected foul play after a 35-year-old man found with severe injuries on a street in Vienna’s Meidling district died, ORF reported.

Officers from the Meidling City Police Command were called shortly before 2 p.m. to a man lying motionless on the street. Resuscitation efforts and emergency medical treatment were unsuccessful.

Police said the evidence found at the scene pointed to the involvement of another person. They are questioning witnesses and securing evidence. The circumstances of the incident remain unclear, and the Vienna State Criminal Police Office has taken over the investigation.
