27-year-old dies after quad crashes in Anthering

A 27-year-old man died in a quad crash in Anthering, in Salzburg’s Flachgau region, on Saturday, ORF reported.

A witness found the quad in a roadside ditch late in the evening, with the man trapped underneath. Emergency responders were unable to save him.

The public prosecutor’s office ordered an autopsy. It remains unclear why the man left the road. Police said there were currently no indications that another person was involved in the crash.
