BW Linz rout promoted Voitsberg 5-1 in second division

BW Linz beat second-division newcomers ASK Voitsberg 5-1 on Sunday, ORF reported, maintaining their perfect record after four rounds.
Nico Grimbs put the Bundesliga-relegated side ahead in the 12th minute. BW Linz then struck three times early in the second half, with Romeo Vucic converting a penalty in the 54th minute, Anton Tsarenko scoring two minutes later and Fabio Varesi-Strauß heading in from a corner in the 61st.
Tsarenko was sent off in the 72nd minute for stopping an attack involving Voitsberg captain Philipp Scheucher. Voitsberg then scored through Luka Zivanovic in the 76th minute, ending BW Linz’s run without conceding this season.
Despite being reduced to 10 men, BW Linz added a fifth goal through Erik Weinhauer in the second minute of stoppage time.
BW Linz lead the second division with 12 points from four matches, three points ahead of Austria Salzburg and Wacker Innsbruck.
