Tourist bites campsite operator, speeds across grounds

A 53-year-old woman from Slovakia bit a campsite operator after she was refused an overnight stay at a campsite in the Völkermarkt district on Monday morning, ORF reported.

After the altercation, she got into her car and drove at a greatly increased speed across the campsite grounds, where several people were present. No one else was injured. She then fled but was stopped and provisionally arrested during an immediate search. The campsite operator was injured by the bites.

After consultation with the Klagenfurt public prosecutor’s office, authorities ordered that she be reported while remaining at liberty.
