car accident, Kärnten, Radenthein

A 29-year-old driver escaped injury after his car left the road and rolled onto a guardrail near Radenthein on Saturday morning, ORF reported.

The man was driving towards Radenthein on the Kleinkirchheimer Straße (B88), a road, at about 7 a.m. when the vehicle veered onto an embankment near St. Peter. It overturned and came to rest on its side, partly on the guardrail.

The driver was alone in the car. A breath test showed he had consumed a small amount of alcohol, and police took his driving licence at the scene.

Volunteer fire brigades from St. Peter ob Radenthein and Radenthein, along with a command vehicle from Bad Kleinkirchheim, attended. They freed the car from the guardrail, recovered it and cleared vehicle fluids, broken parts and glass from the road.
