Fire crews battle difficult barn blaze in Kobenz

Firefighters spent several hours tackling a barn fire in Kobenz on Monday evening, with difficulties securing water supplies complicating the operation, ORF reported.

Emergency services were alerted at about 7.30pm after the barn was found fully engulfed. A total of 55 firefighters from several fire brigades responded. More fire engines were called in, and crews used high-pressure hoses while wearing breathing apparatus.

The cause of the fire remains unclear. Experts are expected to investigate on Tuesday.
