Climber seriously injured in fall at Burschlwand

A 62-year-old climber was seriously injured after falling while abseiling at the Burschlwand climbing wall near Zams on Friday afternoon, ORF reported.

Police said the cause of the fall and the height from which he fell were not known. The climber was able to call for help, and another climbing team at the foot of the wall witnessed the accident and alerted rescuers. An ambulance crew treated him before taking him to Zams hospital.
