The ORF Burgenland literary competition Textfunken has received 55 entries for its 11th edition, ORF reported. This year’s theme is “Art and AI.”

The submissions range from dialect poems and rap to essays and short stories. They will be reviewed by the culture editorial team, Barbara Karlich and last year’s winner, Guido Gluschits.

The jury will choose a shortlist in mid-November. The public will then be able to vote on the shortlisted texts, with separate jury and audience prizes to be awarded.

The awards ceremony is scheduled for December 3 at a “Funksalon” event at the ORF regional studio in Eisenstadt.
