Mobile and landline networks fail across four Sellrain communities

A complete mobile and landline outage has affected Sellrain, Gries im Sellrain, St. Sigmund and Kühtai since Tuesday evening, ORF reports. The outage is expected to continue at least until Wednesday.

In an emergency, residents should go to their local fire brigade, which is staffed in all four communities. Emergency calls can be relayed from there by radio. Tirol’s emergency coordination centre has informed local emergency services.

The network operator is working to restore service. A severed cable is currently believed to be the cause.
