A woman attacked and injured two men and a security employee at Vienna’s Praterstern railway station, biting her companion and a police officer, ORF reported, citing police.
Security staff from Wiener Linien noticed a couple arguing on the platform of the U1 station and accompanied them outside. The woman then clung to her companion and bit his calf, causing a bleeding wound.
When security staff tried to intervene, she twisted one employee’s arm and injured his shoulder. They called police. The bitten man left the station, saying he did not want to have anything to do with police.
The woman was extremely aggressive toward officers who arrived and tried to arrest her. During a scuffle, she attempted to bite one officer’s knee. Shortly before she was to be taken into custody, she bit another officer on the calf.
Police said she may have been under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Officers seized cannabis resin from her. The 20-year-old Slovak woman remained in police custody on Sunday morning.
