Farm outbuilding fire prompts major response in Karres

A fire broke out in a farm outbuilding in Karres in the Imst district early Sunday, prompting a major response by firefighters, ORF reported. The residential building was protected, and no one was injured.

It was not yet known whether any animals were affected, said Hannes Gstrein, commander of the Karres volunteer fire brigade.

The building contained machinery and hay bales. Around 70 to 80 emergency responders from the Karres, Arzl im Pitztal and Imst fire brigades were deployed.
