Car overturns on Grafensteiner Straße, injuring 70-year-old driver

ORF reported that a 70-year-old woman was injured on Saturday when her car overturned on the Grafensteiner Straße road in Carinthia. The vehicle came to rest on its roof beside the road without involving any other road users.

The accident happened at about 8.50 a.m. as the woman was driving towards Grafenstein on the L 107. Police said she lost control of the car for an unknown reason.

The rescue helicopter C11 provided first aid before flying the woman to the UKH Klagenfurt hospital. The car was badly damaged and was recovered by the Grafenstein volunteer fire brigade.
