Severe thunderstorms threaten southern Bavaria, weather service warns

Severe thunderstorms are expected in southern Bavaria, BR24 reported, citing a severe weather warning issued by the German Weather Service. Forecasters expect heavy rain, large hail and strong gusts of wind.
