ORF reported that an airship got into trouble over western Innsbruck on Friday evening, prompting alerts to an emergency medical helicopter and the fire brigade. The pilot ultimately landed safely.

Eyewitness Florian Andreatta said the airship initially gained altitude quickly. It soon appeared that the crew had lost control and could barely steer the aircraft.

Tyrol’s emergency control centre said it received several reports about the incident and launched a response. The airship later landed safely, so no further operation was needed.
