Police seek witnesses after dog bites pedestrian in Lauterach

A 25-year-old pedestrian was bitten in the abdomen by a dog in Lauterach on Wednesday, ORF reported. Because he noticed the injury only later, police are seeking the dog’s owner.

According to a police report, the incident took place between 2.20pm and 2.30pm on Karl-Höll-Straße. The man and the woman spoke briefly before continuing in different directions. He noticed the bite wound in his abdominal area only afterwards.

Description of the woman and dog

The woman is believed to be aged between 40 and 50, with brown hair. She spoke with a Vorarlberg dialect. The dog was described as medium-sized and brown and white.
