Bajaj Mobility boosts first-half revenue by 65 percent

Bajaj Mobility AG, the parent company of KTM, increased revenue by 65 percent year on year to 704.1 million euros in the first half of 2026, ORF reported. The company, formerly known as PIERER Mobility AG, also significantly improved its earnings after a strong first quarter.
EBITDA improved to 37.6 million euros, compared with a loss of 183.3 million euros a year earlier. EBIT stood at a loss of 24.8 million euros, up from a loss of 256.3 million euros. The motorcycle manufacturer said EBIT turned positive in the second quarter for the first time since the restructuring proceedings.
Motorcycle revenue more than doubles
Revenue from KTM, Husqvarna and GASGAS motorcycles rose by 109.1 percent to 579.6 million euros in the first half. Sales increased by 91.9 percent to 89,004 units.
In addition, 58,568 motorcycles were sold in India by Bajaj Auto Ltd. In total, the listed Upper Austrian Indian company said 147,572 motorcycles were distributed worldwide during the first half.
Free cash flow improved to minus 22.1 million euros, compared with minus 38.5 million euros in the same period last year. Equity stood at 339.9 million euros, representing an equity ratio of 21.5 percent.
The group said worldwide motorcycle inventories held by the company and its dealers had fallen by 10,190 units since the start of the year and were now at a stable level.
