Police report 93 motorcyclists for speeding in Carinthia

Police reported 93 motorcyclists and 44 car drivers for speeding during a two-day operation on popular motorcycle routes in Carinthia, ORF reported.

The state traffic department of the Carinthia police directorate carried out the checks with district police from Spittal an der Drau on Friday and Saturday. Officers focused on the B106 Möll Valley Road, the B107 Großglockner Road and the Großglockner High Alpine Road.

Police also issued 21 on-the-spot fines to motorcyclists and eight to car drivers. Two further vehicles, a motorcycle and a car, had their licence plates removed at the scene because of technical defects.
