82-year-old injured in Pöttsching crash

An 82-year-old man was injured when his car collided with another vehicle in Pöttsching, in the Mattersburg district, on Thursday evening, ORF reported.

The crash happened at an intersection in the built-up area. Police said on Friday that the man suffered injuries of undetermined severity and was taken to Eisenstadt Hospital.

The other driver, a 43-year-old man from Hungary, was uninjured. Breath tests on both drivers were negative, police said. Both vehicles sustained significant damage.
