Authorities stopped a special transport carrying an inadequately secured snow groomer in Obdach, Styria, on Tuesday. The 30-year-old Austrian driver was found unfit to drive under the influence of drugs, ORF reported.

The transport was bound for Slovenia and was stopped during a targeted inspection in the municipality of Obdach. Officers also suspected that the driver card had been manipulated to falsify driving and rest times.

A medical examination confirmed the driver was unfit to drive. His licence was taken away and he was prohibited from continuing the journey. He will be reported to the Leoben public prosecutor’s office and the Murtal district authority.
