Overturned truck blocks A12 near Wörgl

A small truck overturned near Wörgl, blocking the Inntal motorway (A12) towards Germany overnight, ORF reported Friday.

The Czech driver was travelling towards Germany shortly before midnight when the vehicle went out of control after he experienced a microsleep. It overturned shortly before the Wörgl-Ost exit and came to rest diagonally across the entire carriageway.

The driver was rescued unharmed. The motorway was fully closed in the area for about half an hour, while recovery work continued until around 4.40 a.m.
