Car driver turning left hits motorcyclist in Kirchbichl

A 65-year-old motorcyclist was injured in a collision with a car in Kirchbichl on Saturday evening, ORF reported. Police said the 29-year-old car driver failed to see the motorcycle while turning left.

The car driver was coming from the Loferer Straße at about 6:40 p.m. and was turning left onto the Tiroler Straße towards Wörgl when the vehicles collided. The motorcyclist fell and was injured; the car driver was unharmed.

The motorcyclist was taken by ambulance to Kufstein Hospital with bruising and was allowed to leave later that evening. Police said the car driver was slightly under the influence of alcohol and would be reported.
