Truck overturns on narrow forest road near Egg

A truck overturned on a narrow forest road near the Stellenalpe alpine pastures in Egg on Friday, ORF Vorarlberg reported. The driver was uninjured and called emergency services himself.

The truck went over the road’s edge between Vorderen and Hinteren Stellenalpe and tipped over. Emergency crews were called shortly after 10 a.m. and spent about four hours at the scene.

Nine members of the Egg fire brigade contained leaking fluids and helped a towing service recover the truck using winches attached to nearby trees. The recovery went smoothly, the fire brigade said.
