Police identify two suspects in Innsbruck waste-container fire

Police have identified and reported two young men in connection with a waste-container fire in Innsbruck on October 14, ORF reported Thursday.

A police patrol encountered the men, aged 17 and 21, during the night into Wednesday. They matched the description of two suspects identified during the investigation, which included a review of video footage. An earlier search had found no one.

The 17-year-old admitted throwing a firecracker into the container, in Andechsstraße. Firefighters extinguished the flames. The damage was estimated at several thousand euros.
